Sulfasalazine

Description

Sulfasalazine (brand names include: Azulfidine / Salazopyrin / Saaz) is an anti-inflammatory drug.

Indications include:

mild to severe ulcerative colitis
rheumatoid arthritis

Sulfasalazine is also sometimes used in the treatment of Crohn's disease and ankylosing spondylitis.
