Vesicare

Vesicare (generic name: solifenacin succinate; brand names include: Vesikur / Vesitrim) belongs to a group of medicines called anticholinergic agents.

Vesicare is used for the treatment of overactive bladder and urinary incontinence, including symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency and leakage.

Recommendations

Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. Take Vesicare exactly as directed.

The usual dosage is 5 mg taken once daily. In some cases the dose may be increased up to 10 mg daily.

Precautions

Tell your doctor before taking Vesicare, if:

you are allergic to any medicines;
you have any serious medical conditions including glaucoma or severe liver disease;
you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
