Description

Meronem (generic name: meropenem; brand names include: Merrem) is a broad-spectrum injectable antibiotic.

Meronem is used in the treatment of moderate to severe bacterial infections including:

pneumonia
abdominal infections
septicaemia
lung infections in cystic fibrosis patients
bacterial meningitis
skin and skin structure infections
bladder, kidney and womb infections
